EMY scores with Bobcat

Wrexham-based EMY Plant Hire has added more than 20 new Bobcat machines to its fleet. The business was established last year by joint directors Emily Roberts and Andrew Dickens to serve customers in North Wales, Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.

Included in the latest order is the articulated version of the E85 8.5-tonne mini excavator and Emily Roberts says this shows EMY’s willingness to offer more specialised products besides mainstream ones.

“The articulated boom version of the E85 is an unusual feature in the UK market, where the preference is for straight boom models. It allows users to bring the arm closer and to reach a lot higher, potentially providing them with a larger working range."

Other machines supplied comprise 13 more minis including the E10z, E17z , E20z, E26 and E45 models, along with S100 and S450 skid steer loaders and a T450 compact track loader. Completing the order are TL30.70 and T40.180SLP telescopic handlers and various attachments.

• EMY has also added an electric telescopic handler to its fleet, as reported previously on the blog.
