Online hire degrees
22 March 2021
Remote learning has become increasingly popular over the years and all the more so during the pandemic and the need for social distancing.
The HAE has announced a new partnership with the Arden University to facilitate the degree element of its Careers in Hire programme.
The university specialises in online courses, with content co-created with industry employers and partner organisations.
Students can follow a Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMI Accredited) and a Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship plus MBA, both of which can receive support from the Government.
The Level 6 programme is designed to give students an understanding of key and cross-functional business and management disciplines while they continue to work in their current roles.
Throughout the apprenticeship, students work with a career coach to guide them with regular meetings at their workplace.
The postgraduate programme includes modules such as implementing business strategies and ethical leadership. It also enables new learning to be put into action straight away in the workplace.
Successful candidates are awarded an MBA and accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute.
The HAE says that members can access funding to support their employees’ training through the Government’s Apprenticeship Levy, whether they pay the Levy or not.
Intakes are planned for April 2021 and October 2021. For more information contact Nikki Wyllie, the Association’s learning and development officer, on 0121 380 4617.
