Demand for power
8 March 2021
The demand for more site welfare facilities so that personnel can meet social distancing regulations is leading to more units being specified at many locations. And this, in turn, means that operators are redoubling their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.
The MHM Group offers a range of welfare cabin generators spanning a power band between 4kVA to 33kVA and including standard, ‘cube’, compact and long-run options. Currently, only diesel powered units are available but the company plans to supply units incorporating LPG, hybrid and solar options. Roof-mounted solar panel kits are also in development.
Managing director Mat Llewellyn, said: “We are equipped to supply generators for both brand new and used cabins. We also have sets for ready retro-fitting. So, when a rental company or building manufacturer is completing their refurbishment programme, we can offer a new generator as part of their procedure.”
MHM has joined the Modular and Portable Building Association. The company will offer fellow members part-exchange, buy-back and tailored finance options.
