Pickerings opens new depot

Pickerings, the national supplier of modular buildings and portable accommodation, has opened a new depot on a five-acre site at Willenhall in the West Midlands.

The company acquired and developed the brownfield site that had been unused for over 15 years. Facilities include a large office and workshop with a substantial storage yard.

The depot will hold a wide range of portable accommodation to service customers’ sites in Birmingham and throughout the Midlands. Sixteen full-time employees are based at the new location.

Pickerings has twelve depots nationwide offering products to hire, buy or lease purchase. The company recently won a multi-million pound government contract to provide temporary facilities for use as Covid-19 test centres.
