Makita cuts a dash

Makita continues to add more battery powered products to its cordless tools portfolio for environmentally conscious users.
This is another example of the on-going efforts to develop greener ways of working.
The latest launch in the manufacturer’s LXT range is the twin 18V DCE090 disc cutter, which has 36V brushless motor, a no-load speed of 6,600rpm and offers a cutting capacity of 88mm. Power comes from two 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries, and the tool is designed for dry and wet cutting.
Kevin Brannigan, Marketing Manager at Makita UK says, “The Twin 18V DCE090 joins the line-up of over 250 cordless products within our LXT range. We see it as being ideal for use by tradesmen like roofers and tile installers.”
