Making Trax for growth

GT Trax is another hire business that is investing in its fleet to meet growing demand.

The temporary trackway specialist has bought a further 800 Power Tracks 20 plates. Designed to create roadways and to provide ground protection on hard or soft surfaces, they are made from recycled HMPE plastic for use in the construction and events markets.

The company has also purchased a new Manitou MT 625 telescopic handler as part of its installation fleet. It has been fitted with a side-shift headstock and extension forks.

GT Trax reports that, to meet construction industry demands, it has achieved bronze accreditation under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). Under the guidance of transport manager, Colin Dorrington, the company is now working towards the silver and gold levels.
