The ability of hirers to respond quickly with specific site solutions during these challenging times has been demonstrated by generator hire specialist Stuart Power.

No sooner had it added two 1250kVA machines to its fleet than they were out on hire as part of a bespoke package.

The two Bruno FQ1400C generators, from BGG UK, have been custom-built with features to meet commonly encountered customer needs in terms of access and connections, and suitable for single and multi-megawatt power requirements.

To complement the machines, Stuart Power has also invested in new swan neck trailers and external fuel tanks, making the generators suitable for rapid deployment in an emergency.

The company took delivery of the Bruno generators at its head office depot in Shropham, near Norfolk, and they were quickly needed for a short-term hire in a site with limited access, so the 20ft (6m) machines were craned into position.

For optimal load and efficiency, the generators can be synchronised using Deep Sea controllers.

Stuart Power has three other depots, in Immingham, St Helens and Inkberrow in the West Midlands.
