Shindaiwa celebrates

Here’s another indication of the current strength of the market: Shindaiwa Ltd tell me that October was their best month in terms of sales to hirers since 2015.

“What’s really striking is that these sales have been spread across a considerable number of different hire firms, and they are based all over the country,” a delighted Andy Munford, the company’s managing director, tells me.

“Last month we supplied machines as far afield as Inverness, Glasgow, Immingham, Warrington, Chorley, Sheffield, Erith and Pembroke. This is a great indication of how busy hirers are serving customers in construction, petrochemicals and other markets.

“Demand is for equipment in all our product ranges, including our Eco 200 and 300 diesel welder generators, our petrol Eco 165 model and our PowerCenter 15 generator, amongst others.”

Shindaiwa also reports strong sales of its SiteBright lighting products. In fact, the company believes that its current financial year, which ends next March, is shaping up to be the best since the operation was formed back in 2010.
