Smart saw from Husqvarna
28 October 2020
Husqvarna Construction Products reports rapid interest from hirers and contractors in its new K 770 Smartguard cut-off saw which has been designed to reduce kickback risks.
The tool has an extended blade guard that is configured so as to enable the operator to naturally follow the correct technique to minimise the likelihood of kickback when undertaking tasks such as pipe cutting. This can also increase productivity, says the manufacturer.
A 36cm (14in) diameter version is available now, with a 31cm (12in) variant scheduled for Q1 in 2021.
The K 770 Smartguard can be used with Husqvarna’s ‘S’ series of diamond blades, which has segments designed to further reduce kickback risks and to provide clear wear indication.
