During the pandemic, a means of disseminating information to the media that has come to prominence is the virtual press conference, as manufacturers find different ways to promote their latest product launches.
Atlas Copco’s Power and Flow division held such an online event last week for its new HiLight H6+ LED lighting tower. The machine's body is made from ‘hard hat’ medium density polyethylene instead of metal, for durability.
It has a diesel engine and Atlas Copco states that the ability to dim the lamps can give up to 300 hours of continuous operation, with a decrease in emissions of 40 %. The unit also offers a light coverage of 6000 square metres.
The HiLight H6+ has a noise level of 55dB and a choice of retractable towbars are available.
Participants in the virtual event were able to explore 360 degree images of the machine in three dimensions on their laptop screens or mobile devices.
Atlas Copco also recently launched the ZenergiZe, a lithium-ion energy storage system that can provide power on its own or in tandem with conventional generators for a hybrid arrangement. It is available in 15kVA and 45kVA versions.
