Awards success for Miles Hire

Swansea-based Miles Hire has won the SafeHire Company of the Year Award for businesses with a turnover of below £10m in the 2020 HAE Awards of Excellence.
The event should have been held in April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, but the coronavirus pandemic forced its postponement. It was changed to an online ceremony, held this evening.
The judges praised Miles Hire, which has a reputation for outstanding customer service, for “doing everything that an independent hire company should do.”
Travis Perkins won the similar award in the above-£10m turnover category. Amongst other winners were GAP Group, which carried off the Product of the Year trophy for the AutoHybrid Zero welfare unit (manufactured by AJC EasyCabin), and Sunbelt Rentals was named as Event Hire Company of the Year.
Rob Thompson of Go Hire in Hull scooped two awards: Hire Manager of the Year and the overall Hire Achiever Award as the best performer in three categories for individual hire professionals.
The 2021 HAE Awards are scheduled for 24 April.
