Recovery advice available
13 July 2020
The UK government is supporting The Recovery Advice for Business scheme which gives small firms access to free, one-to-one advice from an expert adviser to help them through the coronavirus pandemic and to prepare for long-term recovery.
The platform is hosted on the Enterprise Nation website, a network of small businesses and advisors.
Topics covered include accounting and finance; people management and team building; planning and strategy making; marketing, PR and social media; technology and digital tools.
Advisers belonging to recognised trade bodies have signed up to provide at least one hour of free guidance a month to businesses until the end of 2020. Organisations involved include The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW), the Advertising Association, the Law Society and the Management Consultancies Association (MCA).
Businesses visiting the website will need to answer a short series of questions to identify the level and specific areas of support needed.
The scheme is open to small businesses throughout the UK.
