Stuart Power’s events success
29 June 2022
Following the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions earlier this year, the events industry was expected to bounce back strongly and that has certainly been the experience of Stuart Power, the specialist provider of generators, lighting and pumping equipment.
I met Rebecca Anderson, the company’s sales and marketing executive, and Laura Taylor, area sales manager, on their stand at the Hillhead exhibition last week and they told me that Stuart Power’s order book for events business during 2022 was virtually full by the end of February.
“We were pro-active all last year, keeping in regular contact with customers and it really paid off. And we are currently working flat out in all the markets we serve.”
The company provided generators to power services at various parts of the Hillhead quarry venue for National Exhibition Electrics (NEE). It also recently supplied equipment at the Glastonbury Festival and for the forthcoming F1 British Grand Prix.
The operation is part of the Stuart Group, an authorised FG Wilson dealer, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
