Euro Towers’ Rosie outlook

Amongst several recent developments, Euro Towers has installed a robotic welder at its main factory in Northampton

Nicknamed Rosie, the machine will boost production and help meet the high levels of demand currently being experienced throughout the industry.

Managing director Roger Verallo tells me that careful forward ordering of essential materials like aluminium and wood at the end of last year is enabling the company to keep pace.

He adds that export administration difficulties in the aftermath of Brexit have eased and that a number of sizeable orders have been won recently from customers in Ireland, France and Spain.

“We are also getting business from quite a number of hirers in this country who are adding non-mechanical products alongside their existing powered access hire operations, as well as from new startups founded by former employees of larger companies,” says Roger.

A recent product launch is the Eurofold (pictured), a compact tower configured for rapid assembly and introduced to meet the latest design standards.

The company has also established a factory for repairing access tower products in a separate unit at its trading estate location, and this is adjacent to another building housing a dedicated training facility.
