Kubota dozen for Southern Plant

Whenever I ask hirers what’s most in demand at the moment the answer is often mini excavators. And another example is Southern Plant & Tool Hire, which has just bought a further 12 Kubota machines.

The excavators comprise four K008-3 micro models, a quartet of U17-3ɑ machines and four U27-4 minis. They join the fleet at the company’s recently opened site in Brackley, which complements its headquarters in Henley-on-Thames. 

This new location opened in March to meet growing demand in the area. Situated near both the M1 and M40, it serves Coventry, Kettering, Northampton, Bedford and Oxford.

Vincent Rose, co-director of Southern Plant, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be expanding to meet the pent-up demand we’ve seen over the last few months for excavators and hire equipment, and we’ve already received great feedback on our Brackley offering.”
