Pickerings goes large

Pickerings, the national provider of modular buildings and portable accommodation, has opened its third new depot in recent months with a ten-acre facility in Wootton Bassett, near Swindon. 

The site accommodates a newly constructed office and workshop with an extensive storage yard. It is on a greenfield site close to the M4 giving convenient access to locations throughout the South-West and Wales. It replaces the company’s depot in Swindon. 

Managing director, Neil Moss said: “Our new site in Wootton Bassett is another in our on-going depot development programme and is, probably, one of the largest depots in our industry.” 

This latest development follows on from new Pickerings depot openings at Leeds and Birmingham in the second half of last year.
